Around the globe fans pack themselves into stadiums to watch their favourite football clubs in action.

Some supporters, whether rain, sunshine, or snow, get games of sizes and ensure the ground is full to the brim.

Some arenas are bigger than others, with one of the largest, Barcelona’s Camp Nou, holding around 99,354 people, if need be.

Even League One side Sunderland are able to get plenty of fans through the door such is the enthusiasm and loyalty of their base, and they’re just one of the side to feature in the top 50 football clubs with the highest average attendance, according to the CIES Football Observatory.
